He stimulates all the senses in representing his ideas of the most diverse locations.the entire entrance of Stichting De Appel in Amsterdam smelled of eucalyptus during the ‘shift’ exhibition because Koelewijn had smeared the entrance doors with eucalyptus ointment, as well as a few short lines of poetry by Marsman attached to the wall.
